Web Access to your
Last Call
SMARTCALL Voice-Net
offers advanced facilities for integration of call
recording with your existing business applications. The Information
Server component within Voice-Net,
does the following:
-
collects
additional telephony and business data from the PBX CDR stream and
user desktop applications.
-
appends
the collected data to the appropriate call recording record in the
Voice-Net database.
-
provides
a link to the last call recording from your business application
which is used to playback the call using only a web browser.

The
link is passed to and embedded in your own CRM system or application
using our CRM-Link functionality.
-
This
link allows our OneView
web technology based replay of your recordings from within your CRM
system or business application without the need for proprietary replay
software to be installed on the user PCs.

sending example - ACT! from Sage
To
demonstrate this unique facility we have already integrated Voice-Net
with the popular CRM contact management application ACT! from Sage.
We can do the same with your specific CRM package (e.g. Microsoft CRM,
Goldmine, Heat, etc.).

In
the figure above, the call has just been completed and the Company Name information is collected from
ACT! and the rest by manual entry on the Voice-Net
Call Outcome pop-up, so that both
can be stored
with the call recording in the Voice-Net
database. In this example, call outcome data collected includes the Business
Manager allocated for this lead, whether information has been sent to the
customer and the actual call outcome.
In this example, the data is confirmed by the user before saving by
clicking 'OK'.

A URL link to the last
call recording is automatically placed in a user defined ACT! field. All we
have to do to select the recording for playback is to click on this link.
The
screen below shows the Voice-Net
OneView playback controls
automatically presented within the web browser window of ACT! and one click
initiates replay of the recording.

The
call is played using Voice-Net's
OneView web technology.
The full replay capabilities of OneView
are made available to the user including integrated e-mail of an unencrypted copy of
the recording to a third party.
The
actual call recording remains stored in Voice-Net
with the full security of 128-bit encryption and controlled access rights
(only users with a valid
OneView
user name and password can gain access to any recordings) .
In this example a single call is displayed, but OneView
could equally show all calls for the customer or account.
